Jacob Maurer visited our classes on Wednesday and introduced the children to music! He first talked about rhythm and encouraged the children to clap their hands and stamp their feet to steady beats.
Jacob then introduced a number of instruments. He explained various parts of them and then played a sample of music on each. The children too had turns playing various instruments.
Jacob visited our school last year as well, and it was then that we realized he has the makings of a "pied piper!" The children are all mesmerized by and involved in his music.
