We are approaching the close of the 2014 school year. It has truly been a pleasure working with each and every student this year, and being able to see the amazing progress each has made. The end of the year is always bittersweet; it is difficult to say "goodbye" to our graduates, but we wholeheartedly wish all of our students the best of luck and success in the future. For those students who will be returning next year, we can't wait to read new books, learn more about mathematics and science and history, travel around the world, and more!
But the year is not over just yet!
There has been a lot happening - last week the PoDs organized a Fair Day. The students did their own tying in order to make bright tie dyed t-shirts that we wore outside for the fair. What fun!
We had our annual Spring Show, and a graduation ceremony on June 4.
Miss Capwell and Mrs. Smith's class had a Hat Day.
We have done many things! PoDS organized a wonderful Art Auction, many parents have visited to share lessons on a variety of subjects with students, we went to see a theatrical production of Alice in Wonderland, and we have learned and grown. So, again - best wishes to those students that are moving on, and there is more to come for those that will be with us this summer and next year.
