To the Families of Datzyk School,

The summer certainly flew by! At the end of last school year, the children helped to plant a wildflower garden at the entrance to the back playground. When they return to school this year, they'll be able to see how much everything has grown. Take a minute to admire the beautiful variety of native flowers and plants.

Although Datzyk has changed in various ways during the last half century, the mission has remained the same: to educate the whole child, and to guide children along the unique paths of their educational journeys. We have important concepts and ideas to relay in each of the core subject areas, but carefully allow ourselves to be directed by the evolving interests of the students in our classrooms. Because of our willingness to be guided by the children’s  interests, we explore the concepts and ideas in a unique way each academic year.

Two of our teachers will be moving to different classrooms: Mrs. Amber Moralis will be joining Mrs. Molter upstairs, and Miss Marielle Seche will be working with Mrs. Knerr and Dr. Soni.
